The Hous of Graneshavene is a branching of the more established Clan Hubert. The new household was formed when the younger generation wanted something of their own. It has been in active existence for a several years now. We divide the household into two levels of membership: Members and Associates. Members form the core of the household and have voting rights when household matters are being decided. Associates are those people that camp with Graneshavene but have not yet been voted in as a members. Associates are usually friends of normal members, friends of friends, people that irregularly go to events.

Graneshavene promotes all the arts that were practiced in medieval times. This ranges from the art of combat to the art of embroidery. If you have an interest in learning brewing, archery, heavy combat, embroidery, glasswork, bronze work, leather craft, period costume, calligraphy, or illumination then we have members that can help you learn. If your interest is in a different medieval art, you are welcome to teach it to interested members. Good gentles that are camping with us are encouraged to bring any projects they are working on to events.

One of Graneshavene's loftiest goals is to have a period encampment. If you do not own a period pavilion/yurt/tent, we are more than happy to help you construct one. Elfa and I have done lots of research, and we can get you into a period tent very inexpensively.

Elric Strangulf

Elric is active in the Shire of Mountain edge and has been a member of the SCA for over 10 years. His interests very from year to year, but his current passions are sewing, heraldic display, and working towards a wholly period encampment. His past interests have been archery, blacksmithing, lampworking, and woodworking.

Ælfgifu usually goes by her nickname of "Elfa," and has been an active member in the SCA since her childhood. She has been very active in the Arts & Sciences in An Tir and has even served a term as the Arts & Sciences Champion. Elfa's main interests at the moment are Medieval Glass and Sewing.

Ursula Georges

Ursula is a long time member of our household and excels at historic research. She has taught classes on various subjects and is skilled in various handicrafts. Examples of her Calligraphy and Knitting can be seen via the links. Ursula holds the Household Office of Hous of Graneshavene Pursuivant due to her supreme Heraldic Wisdom. Derian le Breton

Derian moved to An Tir from the kingdom of the east where he was an active fighter. Now days he not only fights, but is a Journeymen of the An Tir Moneiers Guild and quite a good brewer. He holds the household office of Hous of Graneshavene Forger as the offical supplier of tokens and coins to the household.

Gwynnin ap Rhys

Gwynnin is a long time member of the SCA and this household. His primary interests are brewing, heaving fighting, archery, and all kinds of music. Gwynnin currently resides with his wife Laura in the Barony of Adiutium but plans to move East in the near future.

Laura is the most recent addition to our household and was brought into the SCA by her new husband Gwynnin. Her main interest is medeival music but she is also exploring cooking and sewing. She is planning on moving east in the near future.
